The LRM "Homeless Prevention Assistance" program is designed to help families avoid becoming homeless.

Through grants and generous donations received, Lazarus Restoration Ministries is sometimes able to help families pay their rent and mortgage payments that, if left unpaid, would cause them to become homeless.  This program is offered on a first come first served basis, but only when funds are available. 

In order to fully qualify for assistance from this program, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
1.       Be currently housed in Alachua County.
2.       Have verifiable steady income.
3.       Have a verifiable need for assistance. 
4.       Provide all information and documentation as required by the program.
5.       Provide proof of participation in a financial fitness class approved by the program.

To request assistance through this program, please complete and submit the Request Form to the right.  Be sure to provide your name, email address, telephone number and a detailed description of what you are requesting.  

Once your request is processed, you will receive an email from Lazarus Restoration Ministries to let you know your status.  Families receiving funds from this program may be required to participate in financial counseling and/or empowerment workshops to enhance their financial management skills.
